Mashoko Christian Hospital Bungu Medical Ministry
Senior Chaplain | Evangelism Department Director
Suspicion is a graduate of Zimbabwe Christian College (Diploma in Pastoral Studies) and Great Zimbabwe University (Honors Religious Studies) and presently a student of Stellenbosch University (Masters Theology in the area of Mission Studies).
He is currently on mentorship to be part of Mashoko Christian Hospital’s future leadership team (This includes: being an executive member of the hospital board, acting as the director of the hospital in the absence of the Medical Director, and chairing executive board meetings.)
Suspicion works with Nyikadzino Muteiwa (Junior Chaplain) who is also a graduate of Zimbabwe Christian College and student of Honors Religious Studies at Midlands State University.
Suspicion’s duties include heading and directing the Evangelism programs of the hospital; providing a pastoral presence to patients, hospital staff, and students and their immediate families on a daily basis.
He also provides Pastoral counseling and confidential support to patients, hospital staff, students and their immediate families, and those who are struggling with issues of crisis, loss, stress, or any other social or work related problem. Suspicion’s duties also include being part of the debriefing process after traumatic events.
On a routine basis, he is leading and preaching morning devotions for patients, hospital staff and students, and is preaching at Sunday and Wednesday evening services (Sunday morning worship services are at the Mashoko Church of Christ).
Ministering one-on-one, Suspicion shares the gospel with patients, hospital staff, students and their immediate families. Additionally, he is visiting and evangelizing people in the Evangelism Follow-up Program, Dental Outreach Program, and AIDS Home Based Care Program. Conducting funeral services for hospital staff and students and their immediate families is another part of his ministry.
Mashoko Christian Hospital is very blessed to have Senior Chaplain Suspicion Mudzanire and also Nyikadzino Muteiwa working alongside of Dr. Bungu to bring the message of Christ to those who come to the Hospital seeking help for their physical needs and, while there, find Jesus.
